Доверительный паевой фонд
Финансовое учреждение в Великобритании, специализирующееся на инвестициях в ценные бумаги. Паевой фонд является организацией открытого типа и обычно управляет сразу несколькими фондами, стремясь удовлетворить самые разные потребности инвесторов (например, получение высоких доходов или увеличение суммы капитала). Паевые фонды аккумулируют средства большого количества вкладчиков и используют их для формирования инвестиционных портфелей, состоящих в основном из акций британских и зарубежных компаний, а также государственных ценных бумаг с фиксированным процентом. Такие фонды являются особо привлекательными для мелких инвесторов, стремящихся обезопасить свои вложения и передать управление своими активами опытным специалистам. За управление активами инвестор обязан уплатить первоначальный взнос, а затем вносить ежегодную плату. Паевые фонды продают своим инвесторам паи (units) на основе цены покупателя (которая ниже) и выкупают их у продавцов на основе цены продавца (которая выше) (см. Bid price). Стоимость отдельного пая определяется путем деления общей стоимости инвестиционного фонда (плюс имеющаяся наличность) на количество паев. Все паевые фонды в Великобритании входят в Ассоциацию паевых фондов (Unit Trust Association (UTA)), деятельность которой регулируется Управлением финансовых услуг (см. Self Regulatory Organization).
